Lamotte
Dorian Lamotte obtained a Master's degree from the Conservatoire de Paris (CNSMDP), and studied with Olivier Charlier, Jacques Ghestem, and Ivry Gitlis. In 2005 he won the grand prize of the Pierre Nerini competition, and obtained a Master's Degree in Orchestral Training and a Diploma in Orchestra Conducting.
In 2008, he won a competition to be part of the Quatuor Debussy, an ensemble recognized for its 20 years of international career and its numerous awards, and with them, he gave concerts and master classes around the world and recorded albums for the Universal Decca and Timpani labels. .
In 2013 and 2014 he was part of the Valdivia Chamber Orchestra as concertmaster and Musical Director. In 2013, he made the first edition of the score for Edouard Lalo's Piano Quintet as well as the first worldwide recording of the work, on an album by the Continuo Classics / Naxos digital label.
Dorian Lamotte plays the violin of Paolo Castello from the year 1774, with Corelli strings from his sponsor, the Savarez company.
