Carolina Ramirez Campos

Carolina began her musical studies at the age of 8 at the Conservatory of Music of the Austral Universitiy Valdivia.
In 2001 she entered the Bachelor's Degree in Musical Interpretation, Violin mention, at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile, joining the Chair of Professor Alberto Dourthe, later being a student of Professor Holly Huelskamp.
In parallel, she obtained the Youth and Children's Orchestras Foundation Grant, becoming a musician in the National Youth Symphony Orchestra.
In 2006 she became part of the Classical Orchestra of the University of Santiago de Chile. During this period he also participated as a member of the Chamber Orchestra of the Municipal Theater of Santiago, directed by maestro Sergio Prieto, and in the Chamber Orchestra of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
The experience acquired during this intense musical period, determined her admission to the Santiago Philharmonic Orchestra since 2009, a group in which he performs until 2018.
Since 2018 she has been invited to collaborate in the agreement signed between the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage and the Municipal of Santiago, teaching violin classes and orchestral training from north to south.
In the summer of 2019 he participates as a monitor in the XXV Márquez de Mancera Musical Camp, traditionally held in the Los Ríos Region, an instance in which the idea of ​​promoting a space that contributes both to the training and improvement of the violinists and musicians of the country, as well as to generate a meeting point from which to establish the foundations of a community of organized musicians, which favours mobility, development and contact with our society.
These and other reflections result in the birth of the Cultural Foundation Chile Violins, an institution founded and chaired by Carolina Ramírez, which although it is true has a clear address with respect to its central axis, has been conceived to support the different initiatives promoted for the musicians of a changing Chile, in which culture and the arts have been present with more force than ever.
In 2020, the first event promoted by Carolina was Violin Week, which was held in the city of La Serena, with the support of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage, and the University of La Serena, among other institutions.

Pablo Ferrera Mena
Pablo began his violin studies at the age of 5, as a student of the professors Darío Jaramillo and Norma Kokisch, later entering the National Conservatory of Music at the University of Chile, where he studied with the teacher Jaime de la Jara.
In 1990 he moved to La Serena, entering the Jorge Peña Hen Experimental School of Music, integrating a large part of its musical groups, and becoming concertmaster of the Jorge Peña Hen Youth Symphony Orchestra, participating in multiple meetings and tours.
In 2002 he settled in the city of Santiago, starting a Law degree at the University of Chile, participating in parallel as a guest musician in different musical groups: the Orchestra Camerata of the Andrés Bello University in Santiago, the Classical Orchestra of the University of Santiago and the Chamber Orchestra of the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso, among other collaborations.
In 2001, he began a career as a cultural project consultant, initially working primarily with artistic schools, and later focused on supporting initiatives related to music, theatre, dance, painting and education.
Between 2015 and 2016, he joined the Teatro del Lago team, in charge of the Studies and Funds Area, an enriching experience in which he learned much from the internal dynamics of this institution, a true cultural engine of southern Chile.
From 2017 to date he has been Administrative Director and General Coordinator at the Copiapó Municipal Symphony Orchestra, a group that has a history of more than 35 years, currently representing in the north of the Support Program for Professional Orchestras of the Ministry of Cultures, the Arts and Heritage.
Annually, Pablo Ferrera formulates and coordinates multiple artistic and cultural projects. Highlights include his participation in the Concert Season "Musical Sundays" held at the Municipal Theater of Santiago (2013 and 2014), "I and II International Meeting of Cornos" (2013 and 2014), “Gasper Crew”, the first Chilean work of experimental hip hop (2014), Theater for all, A Theater Without Limits (2017), and “Season of Educational and Citizen Concerts of the Museum of Visual Arts” (2017 and 2018), among many others.
