2020 sees the formation of Chile Violins Cultural Foundation

We are pleased to communicate to the entire community of musicians and artists the official beginning of the Cultural Foundation Chile Violins, an institution led by Carolina Ramírez Campos, a Valdivian violinist.

The foundation's registration date is December 21, 2019. Its main objective is to contribute to the training and development of musicians in our country, while promoting instances that promote the training of audiences from a transversal perspective, understanding in this appreciation for the different forms of expression present in music, and the significant experience that being part of it represents.

The Foundation will be based in the city of La Serena, from where we will seek to contribute to the development of culture and the arts not only in the Coquimbo region, but throughout the country.

As a first task, we have proposed to develop an ambitious project, which you can already see on our website: The organization of Violin Week / La Serena 2020, an activity that has the support of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and the Heritage, the University of La Serena, the Illustrious Municipality of La Serena and the Foundation of Youth and Children's Orchestras of Chile, among others.

We strongly express our commitment to the entire society in the incessant task of promoting music and art, seeking to play an active role in the next challenges that as a country we must face: an inclusive, quality, accessible culture in which a or otherwise, each and every one of us feel called to participate. The Fundación Cultural Chile Violines officially begins its activities today.
